What precautions should be taken when using lithium batteries.

1. Lithium batteries can be stored in clean, dry, and ventilated indoor environments with an ambient temperature of -5 ℃ -35 ℃ and a relative humidity not exceeding 75%. They should be avoided from contact with corrosive substances and kept away from sources of fire and heat. The battery level should be maintained at 30% to 50% of the nominal capacity. Recommend charging batteries every 6 months for storage;

2. Lithium batteries should not be fully charged and stored for a long time. After long-term storage, it is easy to cause inflation and affect discharge performance. The optimal storage voltage is around 3.8V per unit. Before use, fully charge before use to effectively avoid battery inflation.

3. Lithium batteries are different from nickel chromium and nickel hydrogen batteries because they have a very bad "aging" characteristic, which is that after storage for a period of time, even if not recycled, some of their capacity will be permanently lost. Lithium batteries should be fully charged before storage to reduce capacity loss, and the rate of "aging" varies under different temperatures and battery states;

4. Due to the usage characteristics of lithium batteries, they support high current charging and discharging. After being fully charged, the storage time of lithium batteries cannot exceed 72 hours. It is recommended that users fully charge them one day before preparing for work;

5. Unused batteries should be stored in their original packaging, away from metal objects. If the packaging has been opened, do not mix the batteries together. Unpacked batteries can easily mix with metal objects, causing short circuits, leakage, explosion, fire, and personal injury. One way to prevent such situations from happening is to store the battery in its original packaging.
